A postcard from the site can be sent anywhere in the world - in Russia and abroad. The cost of postcards with delivery in Russia is 149 rubles, abroad - 249 rubles.
Sending at the post office and through the box
If you want to send a regular postcard, you need to write the address of the recipient and sender on it according to the rules for writing addresses and stick stamps on the amount of delivery. Unpaid or partially paid cards are returned to the sender.
Sometimes a stamp is already printed on the card - letter “B”. The letter B on the card allows you to send this card in Russia without additional stamps. A postcard with a letter can be sent abroad, after gluing stamps for the desired amount.
Postcards are simple and custom.
A simple postcard is delivered to the recipient in the mailbox and it is impossible to track the delivery of such a postcard. You can send a simple card by simply dropping it in a Russian Post box, or at the nearest post office.
A registered postcard is handed to the recipient in person, upon presentation of an identity card. A custom postcard can be tracked by track number. You can send it only from the post office.
The maximum weight of the postcard is 20 g. The minimum size: 90 × 140 mm, the maximum size: 120 × 235 mm.
How to send a card and how much does it cost?
After you fill out the card (wrote the address and your message), you just have to send it. But do not rush to throw a postcard in the mailbox!
First you need to go to the post office and buy related postage stamps, then stick them, and only then send them. Sometimes a stamp can be printed directly on a postcard (or on an envelope).
Usually in the post office it is possible to send a postcard as by regular rateso with express delivery. Of course, the latter option is more expensive, but sometimes it can come in handy. If you are interested in express delivery, do not forget to clarify this when buying brands (brands will differ for different tariffs).
Tariffs for sending to Russia must be specified at the post office of the country from which the card will be sent. There are two types of postcards in Russian mail: simple and custom (with delivery in person). More detailed information and current tariffs for sending postcards can be found on the page of the official website of the Russian Post.
That's all! After the address of the recipient is entered and the stamps are pasted, you can throw the card in the mailbox or give it to the mail officer.
